If you prefer not to use insurance, I offer private-pay sessions. Please contact me directly for current rates and availability.
If you choose to opt out of using your insurance benefits, you will be asked to complete a brief waiver form. Please note that sessions paid privately in this way are not eligible for insurance reimbursement, and superbills will not be provided.
Your out-of-pocket cost depends on your insurance plan (copay, deductible, or coinsurance). I recommend checking your benefits to better understand your financial responsibility. If anything feels confusing, I’m happy to help you sort through it.
Charges are based on your insurance company’s Explanation of Benefits (EOB), which outlines your final responsibility after claims are processed.
I offer a limited number of reduced-fee (sliding scale) spots for clients paying privately, based on financial need and availability.
If cost is a concern, I encourage you to reach out. We can explore whether a sliding scale option is currently available.
Yes. All sessions are currently conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth. This allows you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing:
- Trauma and PTSD
- Anxiety and stress
- Attachment and relational challenges
- Emotional overwhelm and inner conflict
- Dissociative symptoms and dissociative disorders
I use evidence-based approaches such as EMDR and Internal Family Systems(IFS) therapy to support meaningful and lasting change.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process and heal from distressing experiences. It can reduce the emotional intensity of memories and help you feel more grounded and resilient.
Parts work (Internal Family Systems-informed therapy) helps you understand different “parts” of yourself—such as those that feel anxious, critical, or protective. This approach fosters self-compassion and helps create internal balance and clarity.
Standard sessions are typically 45–60 minutes. Extended sessions may be available depending on clinical needs, particularly for EMDR work.
Most clients begin with weekly sessions. Frequency may be adjusted over time based on your goals, progress, and preferences.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
Yes. Your privacy is very important. All sessions are confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as risk of harm to self or others, or as required by law).
You can reach out through my contact form or email to schedule an initial consultation. From there, we’ll determine if we’re a good fit and discuss next steps.
I take a collaborative, compassionate, and relational approach to psychotherapy, with a strong emphasis on safety, presence, and attunement.
I deeply value client autonomy. We will never move into or work on anything without your full consent, including permission from all parts of you.
I also want to acknowledge that you may or may not have had positive experiences in therapy in the past. If therapy has felt invalidating, overwhelming, or unsafe, I want to honor the impact that may have had on you. My goal is to create a space where therapy feels safe, supportive, and at your pace.
I am certified in EMDR through EMDRIA and have completed Level 2 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I am currently pursuing IFS certification.
In our work together, my intention is for you to experience what it feels like to be genuinely heard, seen, and supported in a way that allows you to stay present with yourself and your experience.
EMDR therapists are trained to use EMDR, while EMDRIA Certified therapists have completed additional advanced training, consultation, and experience. Certification is optional, but it reflects a higher level of specialization and continued professional development.
IFS-trained therapists have completed the official Level 1 training through the IFS Institute, while IFS-informed therapists have learned and use IFS concepts without completing that full training. Both can incorporate IFS into therapy, but training reflects a deeper level of formal, hands-on experience with the model.
